A 6 brings a token out of the yard and gives another roll, but 3 sixes in a row lose the turn. Landing on an opponent sends it back to its yard, except on the start and star squares. A token needs the exact roll to reach the centre.
Press Space to roll. When several tokens can move, tap one, or Tab to it and press Enter.

How it works
- Choose two to four players and how many are people on this screen; the rest are the computer.
- Roll the die: a 6 brings a token out and rolls again; move a token by the number rolled.
- Land on an opponent to send it home; the first to bring all four tokens to the centre wins.
Frequently asked questions
- What are the rules of ludo?
- Each player has four tokens in a yard. A 6 brings one onto your start square; then tokens move clockwise by the roll. Landing on an opponent sends it back to its yard, except on safe squares. After a full lap, tokens go up your home column and need the exact roll to finish.
- What happens when I roll a 6?
- You may bring a token out or move one six steps, and you roll again. Three sixes in a row lose the turn, as in the most common rules.
- Can several people play on one device?
- Yes — set how many of the players are people; you pass the device round, and the computer plays the other colours.
- How does the computer play?
- It captures when it can, finishes tokens, moves threatened tokens to safety and brings new ones out — a fair opponent for a family game.
- Is anything sent anywhere?
- No. The game runs in your browser and your record stays on this device.
