Computer’s tiles: 0

The line starts with the first tile played.

Boneyard: 14Draw game: no tile fits? Draw until one does; pass only when the boneyard is empty.

Your tiles: 0

Tap a tile to play it, or drag it onto an end. When it fits both ends, tap the end you want.

Play out first to score the pips left in the other hand. A blocked game goes to the lower pip count, which scores the difference; equal counts score nothing.

How it works

  1. Choose the draw game or the block game and the computer’s level.
  2. Play a tile whose number matches an open end of the line; draw or pass when nothing fits.
  3. Empty your hand first to score the pips left in the computer’s hand — first to 100 wins.

Frequently asked questions

What are the rules of dominoes?
Each player takes seven tiles from a double-six set. The highest double starts the first hand. Take turns adding a tile whose number matches one open end of the line. The first to play all their tiles wins the hand.
What is the difference between the draw game and the block game?
In the draw game you take tiles from the boneyard until one fits; in the block game there is no drawing, you simply pass. The block game is shorter and more tactical.
How is it scored?
The winner of a hand scores the pips left in the other hand. If nobody can play, the lower pip count wins the difference. The first to 100 points wins the game.
How strong is the computer?
Easy plays any tile that fits; medium gets rid of heavy tiles and keeps a mix of numbers; hard also remembers the tiles played and blocks numbers you seem to lack.
Is anything sent anywhere?
No. The game runs in your browser.
