Nothing leaves your device
This tool runs entirely in your browser. What you type, play or record here stays on your device: nothing is uploaded or saved on a server.
How it works
- Choose how many dice and which kind: six-sided for most board games, d20 for role-playing games.
- Press Roll, or the space bar: the dice tumble and land, and the total is shown.
- Your last 20 rolls stay in the history below.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it really random?
- Yes. Every result comes from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator — the one used for passwords and keys — with no bias toward any value. The draw is decided first; the animation only shows it.
- Which dice can I roll?
- Six-sided dice with pips, and the role-playing set: d4, d8, d10 (1–10), d12, d20 and d100 (1–100 on one die). Up to 10 dice at once.
- Can I roll two dice for board games like backgammon?
- Yes — choose 2 dice and d6; each die is shown and the total is added up.
- Does the animation affect the result?
- No. The result is drawn before the dice start to tumble; the animation just shows it, and is skipped if your device asks for reduced motion.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. The dice are rolled in your browser.
