Each symbol counts as one character, so ꧁༺ is two. If a game allows 10, all but the last fit. Counted in bytes, ꧁༺Shadow༻꧂ is 18: each of those four symbols takes three.

- Will a game accept these symbols?
- Many do; some allow only letters and numbers, and some limit the length — a symbol can count as two characters. Try one symbol first.
- How do I put a space in my nickname?
- Copy the Hangul filler from the invisible character page: it looks like a space but counts as a letter, so name fields accept it.
- Why does my friend see a box?
- Their device’s font lacks that symbol. The most common ones (☆ ♛ ツ 彡) show almost everywhere; rare scripts may not.
- Can I make fancy letters too?

- How many characters does my nickname use?
