Example
Example: the name “Emma” in eight of the 24 styles
Type Emma and keep All styles: every style is listed under its name, ready to select and copy.
| Style | Result |
|---|---|
| Bold | 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚 |
| Script | ℰ𝓂𝓂𝒶 |
| Gothic | 𝔈𝔪𝔪𝔞 |
| Double-struck | 𝔼𝕞𝕞𝕒 |
| Circled | Ⓔⓜⓜⓐ |
| Small caps | Eᴍᴍᴀ |
| Upside down | ɐɯɯƎ |
| Strikethrough | E̶m̶m̶a̶ |
Each line is plain Unicode text, so it pastes into a bio or a chat as it is. Small caps keeps a capital as a capital, and upside down also reverses the order so it reads when turned over.
How it works
- Type or paste your text: a name, a bio line, a message.
- Every style is listed under its name; select the line you want and copy it, or choose one style to get only that line.
- Add a frame if you like, then paste it into your profile, post or chat.
Frequently asked questions
- How does a fancy text generator work?
- It does not change the font — it swaps each letter for a different Unicode character that looks like a styled letter. 𝐁 is “mathematical bold capital B”, a character of its own, so it stays bold wherever it is pasted: an Instagram or TikTok bio, a Discord name, a WhatsApp message.
- Why do some letters look different or show as boxes?
- A few styles borrow letters from older blocks (ℬ, ℯ, ℌ), and a phone or app without a font for a character shows a box. Circled, squared and the mathematical styles are widely supported; try another style if one does not show.
- Does it work with accents, Japanese or Korean?
- The styles exist only for A–Z and the digits. An accented letter keeps its accent on top (𝐞́), and other scripts stay as typed; frames, strikethrough and underlining work with any text.
- Is fancy text accessible?
- Not very: a screen reader spells these characters out or skips them, and search does not find them. Keep it for a name or a headline, not for whole messages.
- Why is upside-down text written backwards?
- So that it reads correctly when the screen is turned over: each letter is swapped for an upside-down look-alike and the order is reversed — Emma becomes ɐɯɯƎ.
- Can I put a frame or symbols around my name?
- Yes — choose a frame: ꒰ Emma ꒱, ★彡 Emma 彡★, ♡ Emma ♡, ✿ Emma ✿ or 【Emma】, among others. Frames work with any text, accents and other scripts included, and go with any style.
- Is anything uploaded?
- No. It is worked out in your browser, and nothing you type leaves your computer.
