How it works

  1. Type the monthly amount and a date on each line, such as 1500 09/15/2026.
  2. With one date, choose whether it is a move-in (to the month end) or a move-out (from the 1st).
  3. Give two dates for a stay of its own; across a month end each month is counted at its own length.
  4. Choose how days are counted, as your lease or contract says.

Frequently asked questions

Which way of counting is right?
Whatever the lease or contract says. Counting by the month’s own days is the most common; some landlords use a 30-day month, and some divide the yearly rent by 365, which gives a slightly different daily rate in every month.
Are the move-in and move-out days counted?
Yes, both are included: moving in on the 15th of a 30-day month is 16 days.
Is anything sent anywhere?
No. It is worked out in your browser as you type.
