A worker on a 44-hour week earns R$ 3.300,00 a month (220 monthly hours). In November 2026 they did 10 hours of overtime on working days and 4 on a Sunday with no day off in return.
- Type 3.300,00 as the salary, keep 220 hours (44 a week), enter 10 and 4 in the overtime boxes and pick any day of November 2026.
- November 2026 has 23 working days (Monday to Saturday) and 7 Sundays and national holidays; state and town holidays are not counted.
- The DSR reflex is the overtime, R$ 345,00, divided by the working days and multiplied by the Sundays and holidays.

Frequently asked questions
- What is the DSR reflex?
- Regular overtime raises the paid weekly rest: the overtime over the month’s working days, times its Sundays and holidays (TST Súmula 172).
- Is this an official figure?
- It applies the CLT rules and the 2026 tables; a collective agreement or the payroll may differ.
- How is the overtime hourly rate calculated?
- The monthly salary divided by the monthly hours in the contract: 220 for 44 hours a week, 200 for 40. R$ 3.300,00 ÷ 220 = R$ 15,00, so an hour at 50 % is worth R$ 22,50 and an hour at 100 % R$ 30,00.
- What changes on a 40-hour week?
- The divisor is 200, so each hour is worth more: with R$ 3.300,00 it is R$ 16,50, and the same 10 + 4 overtime hours in November 2026 come to R$ 495,00 with the DSR reflex.
