Frequently asked questions
- By when must the notice arrive?
- By the third working day of a month (Saturday counts; a third working day on a Saturday moves to Monday); the lease then ends with the month after next (§ 573c BGB).
- Does the landlord have the same period?
- For five years. After five years since the handover it is six months, after eight years nine, and the landlord needs a ground.
- Is anything I enter sent anywhere?

- Is this legal advice?
